Jo Konta's rise from nowhere continues. She reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open this morning.

Wimbledon title no. 2 for Murray. Heather Watson wins the mixed doubles with a guy she'd never played alongside before this year's tournament.

Time to roll out the quotes from the start of the thread again. Always amusing.

Can Britain produce a kid who actually looks like he could win something? The kid is a waif. Look at the top tennis players of the last 10 years - they're all bred for the game, whereas Henman and Murray are just posh kids with bad genes. Disgusting.

This type of Willy bashing is not very enjoyable...

Did anyone else think Djokovic looks like he's lost a lot of weight and muscle mass? His legs looked like twigs...

Djokovic seems to have lost something since completing the Grand Slam, but Murray has been brilliant since reaching that French Open final. 9 titles in the year, including Wimbledon, the Olympics and the Tour Finals. I don't think anyone could seriously argue he doesn't deserve to be no.1. SPOTY again?
