After a long summer, it all comes down to this final test at Lords. Flintoff is back(but I doubt 100% fit) and there is a debut for Jonathan Trott.
Is anyone else on here watching it? Who do you think will win.
I am hoping we will but and am fairly confident.

Re: Ashes-Last Test
Rain-affected draw. Based on the fact it's pissing it down as I look out of my office window.
Oh, I see England have won the toss and have chosen to bat. Let's hope they actually do this time.

Yay!
Betfair were offering 4-1 odds on England winning the toss and deciding to bat... seeing as both teams were pretty certain to bat first this was basically 4-1 on a coin toss.
Really hope this isn't a draw - my main plan for the weekend is cricket watching and beer drinking.

Re: Ashes-Last Test
It's been a strange series - England walked two matches, Australia thrashed us in one and the difference between the two sides seems to be that the Aussies lacked the killer instinct in the very first Test. I think the Australian team performed better overall, but England benefitted from having inspired individual performances at crucial moments.

Re: Ashes-Last Test
It was a series of two mediocre teams and the slightly less mediocre team won. Some good individual performances on both sides though, and a gripping viewing experience.

Muttiah Muralitharan has taken his 800th Test wicket with his last ball before he retires. Legend.
