If Pears passes medical, cause for celebrating.
If Harv Elliott joins on loaner, cause for cartwheels & fits of euphoria.
Rovers fans everywhere have to be glad how today has gone. There’s no guarantees, but we got everything we needed, and more. Rovers are definitely in position to make a decent push. It may not happen, but if it doesn’t, the club cannot be blamed for lack of effort.

If he arrives and is successful, Blackburn youth may all want the same ‘do!

Bit of a whirlwind day so far

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
looking to be our best window in recent memory. Really have all the pieces now to let a few youngsters go out on loan while also having a squad that can push for promotion. It's on the manager now to make it work on the pitch.

This is true, it appears Tony got exactly what he asked for, so he has to make this work. I’m excited to see the club on the pitch. We get a game about every three days until Thanksgiving, so it’s great we have lots of quality depth.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Here's something left field. My friend is a ranger on the sand dunes in Lytham, and he saw Jon Flanagan training with a physio dressed in Rovers training wear (the doctor, not Flanagan). He's out of contract after leaving Rangers, so my guess he's either a) being put through his paces ahead of a potential contract, b) keeping up his fitness with the club or a Rovers physio who also does freelance work, or c) something else I haven't thought of.
My friend did actually talk to the physio but it never occurred to him to ask about Flanagan. He just took it on face value that we were signing him

Pears will fall through at the last minute so we can say it’s gone Pears shaped.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Don't really need him though with Nyambe, JRC and Benno.

Benno can move into a roll in the scouting department...plus he seems to have picked up a serious injury. Which is addition by subtraction really.

Just saw that Ryan Manning who we were linked with before, was sold for 250k.
Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
Downing still might happen
Transfer window has been so good. We really do have a squad capable of promotion.
