Re: Scottish Independence
I love how the UK saying that we won't share a currency with a foriegn nation is "bullying".

Re: Scottish Independence
Just wait until they get on to the topic of deporting all the illegal immigrants back to them...

Re: Scottish Independence
It seems that whilst campaigning for independence, Alex Salmond is going to make the strongest argument as to why Scotland should remain part of the UK.

Either that or he's suddenly worried about the consequences of winning...

The 'Spiral Interchange' - helping Scotland become more like Europe and drive on the right if it becomes independant.

Bet they won't be buying everyone new cars will they. It's a cunning plan to increase consumer spending.

"It is understood that another proposal involving traffic light sequencing has been rejected. Instead of red, amber, green, it would have become red, amber, blue. But there was a fear that this would be adopted south of the border by the Conservatives and so lose any distinctiveness."

It's difficult to get the timing right for when the print disappears from the newspapers...

Re: Scottish Independence
So apparently the Scottish NHS will have a £400 million defecit should they go independent. Predictably, Alex Salmond says this isn't true. I'm guessing they didn't bother quoting him saying it was scaremongering as I think that just goes without saying....
Scottish definition of scaremongering = legitimate argument that I don't want to consider right now.

Re: Scottish Independence
It's amazing the amount of legitimate issues he dodges and then just claims that everything will be better in his magical utopia. Can't decide whether him or Osborne have the most punchable smug face.
Re: Scottish Independence
Its ok - because there is enough oil to last until Salmond retires and it becomes someone elses problem.
I'm surprised he has stated that they'll be keeping the queen... I would have thought booting the royals would be a vote winner.
