Three year deal on a free.
11th new signing. Obviously not replacing players that leave though.

Re: Charlie Mulgrew
This is good news.
Re: Charlie Mulgrew
I have no recollection of ever seeing Charlie Mulgrew play. Not a negative towards the signing, just makes it hard to have a strong opinion yet.

30 year old with 130 appearances with Celtic over 6 years. 20 goals in the time span as well. I would like to think it's a good signing because of his experience.

Re: Charlie Mulgrew
Yeah me too. Celtic fans have very mixed opinions if him though. Fingers crossed he can be another Tugay rather than a Fergusson.
Re: Charlie Mulgrew
Tugay was Turkish...

I could get really excited about this signing, if we finally have a true left back.

Re: Charlie Mulgrew
You mean Derek Williams? By all accounts (that I've heard) Mulgrew is best in a holding midfield position and maybe centre back...he's played at left back before but Celtic fans were not impressed.WacoRover wrote:I could get really excited about this signing, if we finally have a true left back.

Thanks, I had seen he played 3 positions...I wondered which he does best.
