I like this signing a lot. Free transfer too. Great experience and pedigree added to the squad.

Reading up on him on Derby forums and plenty seem disappointed that he left.

He's a well seasoned Championship midfielder who has plenty of experience in fighting for promotion so seems like a decent signing. Guessing that means Rodwell isn't signing.

I think this is the "hit the bricks Rodwell" signing.

At 32, I am concerned a little bit. Then again, he has shown to still be able to play at least 30 matches a season. He can score some goals, which is a huge upgrade from 'Pillow Feet' Corry Evans.

This is a good signing for Rovers. Not that we are short of midfielders but Bradley Johnson is better than some already at Rovers. Jack Rodwell looks to be playing a waiting game seeing who wants him. Rovers fans and Tony Mowbray only want those who want to play for BRFC so if he wants to sign for Rovers he is welcome but he will not be missed if he doesn't.

Two older, experienced, signings to bolster the 1st team, and an up-and-coming gk for the U23’s. I like all three moves.
