Friendly: Rangers/Rovers.

What I expect to see: Rangers score with relative ease. I don’t believe our defending has been improved.

What I want to see: Rovers score enough to keep it close. TM has improved this area somewhat.

What I will be most surprised to see: A clean sheet.

Prediction: 3-2.

It all starts in 2 hours.

Interesting line up. Looks like the old guard from 17/18 are getting the nod over the young players who have played the majority of pre season so far.

After a decent start, Rangers getting on top. Full backs are getting beaten too easily.

Looking at the 11 on the bench, I would think they’ll be a full change over at half time. Also, Wes Foderingham has been linked to Rovers and is not in the Rangers squad today....

Obviously, I was mistaken re:substitutions

I was expecting the same to be honest. Hart, Buckley and Butterworth are on so we’re slowly getting there!

More importantly Travis has bagged an equaliser :hyper: I think only conceding 1 goal against a prolific team like Rangers would be a great result.

Pleased with today’s result; I must say, it could have been 1-2, or 2-2. Defending appears to have held up fairly well. I will be interested to see a full report of today’s game.

Sounds like our keeper made a few great saves as well. Defoe scoring a header is not great.

Seems like it was the youngsters who impressed with Brereton, Rothwell, Buckley and Travis doing well.
