A goal or two with a r result will get some of the naysayers to be quiet.

Please be a good game. First ever game for my little lad and he is really excited. Even managed to persuade my Mum and Dad to come with us

Hard game to call, really hope we can find a good performance and at the very least get a draw and some points on the board. Sounds like Lenihan will be fit but Adarabioyo possibly a doubt. Expect to see something along the lines of:

----------------Walton
Bennett Lenihan Williams Bell
-----------Travis Johnson
Downing-----Dack-----Armstrong
---------------Graham

It'll be harsh on Rothwell but can't see him not letting Downing start against his former side. Given the misfiring strikers I think Graham will come in to start and don't think Cunningham did enough to get in ahead of Bell.

Unless Downing cuts himself in two I'm sure you meant Armstrong on the right.
Apart from the goal, I'm not sure that Downing has done enough- wouldn't be surprised if Rothwell gets the shout. The defence and midfield almost picks themselves these days. Will be interesting to see if Travis does the 90 minutes.

Yeah I meant Armstrong, and hopefully Rothwell gets the nod.

Other than Dack, I have no clue who TM will start. At least we know Gestede won’t beat us.

I would gladly take a point; all three would result in unrestrained dancing in the streets.

I imagine he will bring Chapman on around the 60th minute mark. Personally, I would like to see:

Walton
Nyambe-Lenihan-Williams-Cunningham
Travis-Johnson
Rothwell-Dack
Graham-Gallagher

Line-up for today

Walton
Bennett-Lenihan-Williams-Cunningham
Travis-Johnson
Downing-Dack
Gallagher-Graham

Gallagher could be playing as a wide man, but it would be dumb to do so as he is a giant basically.

Really want to see Nyambe play at RB and push Benno to the wing. Benno is far better further up the pitch.

A team completely devoid of pace

Long balls are the order of the day.

Solid first half so far. Showing good possession and Cunningham is a real difference in the side for the left side. He pushes really high and isn't afraid on the ball, something that Bell is very timid about. Downing has put in a couple of really good balls, Gallagher has made a threat of himself on the right side. Graham, as said before, is a big threat up top. I think dropping him for the first two matches was a mistake, and he is showing his worth. Johnson and Travis having a quiet first half, which is good. Williams make an odd mistake but cleaned up nicely.

Overall, I think we can really win this match if we get another goal or two.

I am cautiously optimistic right now. Yes, we really need some insurance here, I fear a defensive lapse will spoil the party
