I thought y’all might like a slice of Americana, game-show hyjinks from the 1970’s.

Holtby is done. Options getting limited. Cairney ties it late. 1-1.

Mitrovic is back annoyingly. Hopefully we can get something from the game. We were generally very good away at Fulham at the start of the season but lost 2-0 so would he nice to get one back.

We are suddenly a little thin squad wise until Rothwell is back. Hopefully Bennett can pair up with Travis in the middle. Push Downing out left with JRC in behind Arma.

Agreed. We need something from Gallagher today.

JRC in the lineup again. Excited to see if he can conjure up some magic.

I gave Mitrovic about 5 min to score... the longer we play, & he doesn’t score, the better I feel about our chances today

Well, 0-0 at HT, not bad, Fulham dominating stats, if we can get a shot on goal, it would be big news.

They have a superior bench, with Knockaert, Kamara, Sessegnon, etc. this is a huge test for our beat-up squad. So far, weathering the storm..

Rovers rather toothless against a good Fulham team. Didnt expect much else given our three main goal creators are missing from the team. Only Armstrong can be relied on to be a threat on goal. Danny Graham may have to play a bigger role in the second half of the season. Apart from these two players it is difficult to see where the goals are going to come from. Gallagher has to be dropped and someone else given a chance.

Just edged out by a better side. Have to say Gallagher was very unlucky with his shot to the bottom left hand corner that the goalkeeper just got to, other than that, he offered little. A tad disappointed with JRC but I'm sure he will improve with experience. Haven't seen the replay of their goal, but Walton had a cracking game. even saved a shot (sorry, clearance) from Nyambe that was heading in.
The player that I would replace next game is Johnson - let's have a look at Davenport, seems to be an unused resource.

I just watched the highlights; yes, Walton denied them late, making a great play to keep it 0-1.

I don’t know if Gallagher will be back next year, or wanted back. Rovers need strikers. The defense is fairly young & set (one great back is needed). Gallagher has had his chances in the lineup. I thought he would blossom with more opportunities, alas, it hasn’t happened...

It might’ve been a different story yesterday, if Dack, Rothwell, and/or Holtby, or any combination of 2 out of 3. There is still lots of season left to play, but I will be pleasantly surprised if we finish higher on the table than the place we presently occupy.

Been reading that Tony Mowbray was questioning that Rovers disallowed goal should have stood. I have seen the footage from a fan video from the stand and after watching it a few times the ball is touched by a think Samuel before running on to Lenihan i think who slots home. The referee was right.

Stat line shows we got bossed around, and after watching the extended highlights, our defense really made some mental mistakes that put Walton under unneeded pressure. I'm just not sure what to make of Gallagher anymore. It seems he is starting to get shots on target, but they're just not falling. That, and playing him as an inverted winger just seems like a waste.

As of right now, I think we should go with a 4-4-2 and see how it plays out. WE obviously have enough striker depth to play it, so it would be most sensible to start utilizing what we have, rather hamper us with a system that relies on midfielder depth.
