Not sure I can remember a game where we've had 72% possession in a half (if BBC sport is to be believed), shame we haven't scored yet.
Yes, lots of opportunities too. Hull has come out on the attack

Hull are in a terrible run of form but getting some goals is great for us given the injuries. Arma continuing his good form and lovely to see Samuel score are his injury issues.

What a complete match. Smart substitutions on top of it. Brereton really needed a goal out of this, but he did very well to hold up play and lay it off. Overall, we played a poor team but we played a great game. Honestly what a good team should be doing, and we capitalized.

I just hope we can push for playoffs this season and next, because Nyambe is at a completely different level.

Nailed it, Thor. Great game, I'm elated at today's result.

Glad we scored a few, 71% final possession which is ridiculous for us, happy for Samuel

Absolutely.

I’m not thinking about our last game, I’m not worried about our next one. I’m just enjoying a 3-0 win right now.

3-0 without playing particularly well although we dominated the game from end to end against a poor side. Hull's finishing was dire. Brereton looked a lot more effective than Gally has so far,Samuel was lively and took his goal well. One sad note for me was the obvious decline in Danny's game compared to the last few seasons. The way that Armstrong, Brereton and Samuel played may well cause a rethink re the retain/sell plans.
As for Armstrong - WOW. Another 'goal of the season' effort. He will shortly be getting the 'he scores when he wants' accolade from the Clayton end.

Armstrong has been one of my favourites for last couple of seasons, great to see him kicking on last couple of months, has become the key man for us and scored a couple of belters

Like everyone i am happy Samuel got his first goal for Rovers after his injury nightmare of last season. He celebrated of course by covering his ears mocking the boo boys in the Blackburn end. Shame he had to do that. He should have been really pleased to get that goal and celebrated accordingly. If he doesn't like the comments from some fans then fair enough but at least acknowledge the physios who helped him get back to fitness. In short celebrate positively not negatively.

You’re right, Darth, of course fickle fans we will always be.

Rovers have only allowed 3 goals in the last 5. IMO, Lenihan & Nyambe must remain intact. If we could retain Tosin on a permanent deal, great. Then, go after a massively talented left back this summer.

Ten clean-sheets: Walton benefits from these guys; I am not opposed to trying to keep him on a permanent deal.

The jury is still out on Gallagher, BenB, & Samuel. With JR-C, Travis, Holtby, Rothwell, Armstrong & hopefully a fit Dack, the future looks bright.

I don’t see Graham, Bennett, Johnson, Mulgrew, Williams, or Smallwood in future plans. Maybe Downing, as he is the most effective of the older guys. Evans and/or Bell, perhaps in a reduced role, as our talent pool increases.

I love being in 8th, & challenging for a playoff place. TM has done his work well, despite frightful injuries. Sadly, we’ve still got a beat-up & depleted squad. Blackburn Rovers should be one of the youngest teams in the Championship next season, & definitely pushing for a playoff place.

I think Bell is benefiting from a consistent run of games. Generally he's been playing pretty well in this recent run since he was given the starting spot. His contract is up at the end of season but if he continues to improve then could cement that place as his own.

I thought Samuel was quite poor coming on against Fulham but then his first touch and finish against Hull were really good. Showed a strikers instinct we haven't necessarily seen from Gallagher. Brereton was good too.

Rothwell hopefully back in a game of so, if we can get something at Charton could get ourselves right in the mix with important players to then come back.
