A refreshing conversation -makes a change from the hysterical over reactions and profanity on other sites.

That's cos all the other sites are LITERALLY THE WORST FUCKING SITES in the WHOLE FUCKING WORLD.

On a non-Blackburn note, I think Ian Harte was an outstanding left back who I will forever remember in large part due to that hat-trick of free kicks against us. The third felt like the least surprising goal we have ever conceded.

All, my belated input about our left backs from an old 'un. Eckersley wasn't actually all that great and was from that earlier knobbly-knee'd era, so the best in my book was Keith Newton who was a "modern" player, fast, wanna-be winger, used either foot, tall (though his heading skills were zero in Guadalajara in 1970) and read the game very well. After him, I think we had the wilderness years until Alan Wright and then Le Saux, our best in the modern era.

Just sayin"

Good conversation. Perhaps the highlight of the offseason will be Rovers’ acquire a top left back.

Perhaps when play begins again, one of the young forwards will step up and score some goals. There is a position open for the taking, if someone would... well, just take it!

The young forwards might not be that young anymore. Or do you mean the latest academy intake? :yeahright:
