Celtic friendly. Pretty good run out against what should be strong opposition.

I notice some Celtic fans have taken offence at us not rolling over for them… This guy Mross for example seems to have got some lemons mixed in with his sour grapes. From what I read they gave as good as they got.

He also somehow manages to unintentionally denigrate the SPFL by saying half the division is only as good as a mid table championship side - which may well be true, but hardly casts us in the negative light he seemed to be shooting for.

Really liked Vale's no look assist to Gally, not a lot of players in our squad would think to play that pass.

Transfer window progressing quite nicely imo: Szmodics is the Rothwell replacement; Morton is hopefully an upgrade on Johnson/Davenport and will push Trav and Buckley; Brittain is an upgrade on Nyambe at RB.

We deffo need a CB to replace JPvH and Lenihan, but Carter is ready and hopefully Ayala can stay fit this season; ideally JPvH comes back on loan.

BBD would be a big loss but Dack should be back and Vale is ready for a rotational role at least. The money we'd get would be good though, really don't want to lose him for nothing next summer having spent c.7.5m on him.

Agreed, I did see some rumours that JPvH is on the cards to come back, could be nonsense though

I think the JPvH rumors are all fan made. But knowing he is far down the pecking order at Brighton, it could be true.

Either way, I imagine BBD is off and do need at least Dack to step up or a striker to come in.

Dack stepping up really involves Dack not getting injured... not really in his control.

And also its been a loooooong time now since he was fit and at his best, whether he can play at that level again is yet to be seen.

Probably although they've just loaned Duffy to Fulham which put JPvH probably at 4th choice but then Chelsea have sent them Colwill on loan who was at Huddersfield last season.

JDT was asked directly about it yesterday but obviously deflected saying we need a defender and will sign one but it's GB's side of things.

Another impressively shit performance away from home against one of the sides lower in the table.

We're getting very good at these :hyper:

Let's hope we're better in upcoming away games against teams above us in the table :hyper:

Another win, I won't lie I'd quite enjoy going through the whole season with no draws. It'd be a fun statistic

It'd be easy enough to go through the season with no draws and finish bottom. The trick is to do it while winning lots.

It'll be a really tough game but winning at Burnley to go top before the World Cup break would be amazing.
